Oil bath

What is the oil bath used for?

The oil bath allows you to moisturize your hair with vegetable oil. The vegetable oil will protect your hair from the hair dryer, curling iron, straightener and the colors in your hair. The oil will therefore moisturize your hair and limit the breakage of your hair.

After an oil bath, your hair will be more supple, shinier and softer.

Why use a vegetable oil bath?

Vegetable oil is natural, you can find it everywhere in organic stores. The advantage is that it will be inexpensive compared to a treatment that you can find in stores. What justifies this price is that you do not have a whole bunch of chemical products and silicones that attack your hair. A simple natural product will beautify your hair.

How to use the oil bath:

For people who do coloring, it is better to do the oil bath just before going to the hairdresser so as not to damage it. If you do dyes/colors, it can happen that the vegetable oil will dull it.

If you dye your hair, I advise you to test a small amount on a small part of your hair with a reduced exposure time.

For people who have hair that tends to get greasy, I advise you to apply the oil only to your ends. Do not apply the oil bath to the scalp which could make them even more greasy.

Directions for use depending on your hair type:

  • Dry hair: avocado, cotton, wheat germ, grape seeds
  • Oily hair: hazelnut, sesame, jojoba, macadamia
  • Curly hair: papaya
  • Normal hair: sweet almond, argan, coconut, olive, apricot

For hair growth you can use castor oil.
