Who are we ?

Caliquo is first and foremost the story of the treasures that we discover, often by chance, on a rainy day, in the attic of an old family home. And also the story of Grégoire, an agricultural engineer who dreams of being an inventor - and who is too bored with financial auditing!

When he finds old 19th century toothbrushes hidden in a corner of his father's attic in Normandy, his brain wakes up! His toothbrushes were made of bone and were not meant to be thrown away. The idea is there: why not make the toothbrush an object that we keep and stop throwing away 18 grams of plastic every three months?

Having resigned, Grégoire focused on his project: offering sustainable toothbrushes made in France in order to reduce the consumption of disposable plastic and to promote short circuits to minimize the carbon footprint.

Caliquo was born. For all those who want to become entrepreneurs and despair of finding THE good idea, we advise you to go and get bored in an old attic! =)

Since October 2018 we have been working as a family! And yes! Grégoire got married in August 2018 and took the opportunity to convince his wife that being an HR in a consulting firm was good but that developing ecological and zero waste products was much better!

Having long been convinced of the need to change her consumer habits and a fan of toothbrushes since her earliest childhood (no, we're joking here), Marthe joined the Caliquo adventure in October 2018 as manager of independent boutiques!
