The Caliquo toothbrush seen by Le Barboteur
The wooden handles of Caliquo toothbrushes, which are manufactured in France, are designed to last more than 10 years.
The toothbrush is an everyday object that has become essential to everyone's life. Indeed, the simple fact of brushing your teeth regularly after each meal is a simple and essential gesture to keep your teeth white. This month, I discovered a French toothbrush brand with a rather attractive concept. Founded by Grégoire Le Lanchon, the Caliquo brand was born from an idea, that of making the toothbrush an exceptional object again. The brand's objective is to limit the amount of waste produced by disposable toothbrushes and to turn this product, which until then was impersonal and unsightly, into an elegant and refined object.
The ordinary toothbrush is transformed here to make way for clean lines and noble materials. The wooden handles of Caliquo toothbrushes, which are manufactured in France, are designed to last more than 10 years. The brand calls upon craftsmen from several trades to design its creations: wood turners and cabinetmakers participate in the development of this first collection. I opted for a toothbrush with a white head and oak handle. You should know that oak is the European wood par excellence, used both for the manufacture of fine joinery and for the manufacture of barrels for the greatest French wines. In terms of use, the head attachment system is secure so that it does not separate from the handle while brushing your teeth.
An elegant and refined object that I will be able to keep for several years thanks to its rechargeable head.
