Cosmetic supplier: who to trust?
As the years go by, we are more involved in maintaining the well-being of our Planet. From soap to the paint used to repaint the garden shed, many products have been created to support this project that so many have decided to be a part of. One of the areas where the efforts are considerable is that of cosmetics.
But it's not just the products and their packaging that can be organic, the cosmetic supplier too!
Some suppliers guarantee their organic and natural cosmetic products, which is a big plus for brands that want to be eco-friendly and encourage their customers to become so too!
Depending on the suppliers, more or less wide product ranges. Labels exist, allowing to certify the components and techniques used to create the products, such as the COSMOS label (which we talk about in the article “Cosmos organic”) and the ISO16128 label. Indeed, the latter has been active since 2018 and gives the guarantee of organic and natural cosmetic products. Many suppliers also choose to work with products that encourage the development of our French companies: “100% French manufacturing” has therefore become very important for sellers in cosmetology.
Afraid that these products won't be as effective as your usual cosmetics?
No need to worry about that, the naturalness of a product does not make it less efficient, but more respectful of all. To reassure customers with facts, labels have also been created and feedback from test customers is very important in the finished product sold.
Unfortunately, frauds do exist in the organic world as well. That's why we're giving you a little reminder here: greenwashing is very real! So check carefully before buying ;)
