Old-fashioned soap, a recommendation from grandma

Grandma's recipes, those recipes that are always recommended to you when you have a problem, but which you often don't believe. How many times have you heard the following phrases:

“An egg and olive oil to put in my hair?? Are you sure? I think I'll keep my shampoo...”

Far too often, isn't it? But don't worry, old-fashioned soap isn't one of those strange recipes that leaves you perplexed, because its effectiveness has been proven!

Traditional handmade soap is made from natural products (such as olive oil) and lovingly crafted in a natural soap workshop.
The process of creating this soap is indeed very laborious. Cold saponification (the technique for creating soap) requires a lot of precision in the quantities of ingredients used. As a result of this technique, an excess of oil is found in the soap, allowing it to be called a “superfatted soap,” which is better for moisturizing the user's skin.
Although the smell of old-fashioned soap itself can be indifferent, it is a very positive point! Indeed, most industrial soaps have a very pronounced smell due to preservatives that are not used in natural old-fashioned soap.

To match the eco-friendly mentality of their products, the brands that create these soaps use recyclable packaging, such as cardboard if the order is large, or simple kraft paper if the product is small. It's important to remember that there's no need for a lot of packaging to make the customer happy; only the product and its effectiveness matter to them ;)
