Choose a natural soap without chemicals

Natural soap without chemicals

For several years now, many of us have decided to choose a more eco-friendly lifestyle in order to preserve our planet. One of the first steps towards living in harmony with our environment is the soap we use every day.

So what are the advantages of natural, chemical-free soap compared to industrial soap?

Did you know that a natural, chemical-free soap is made up of 72% vegetable oils such as olive oil ? Indeed, as we have told you in our previous articles on natural soap, it is thanks to its fatty substance that your skin remains moisturized after use, unlike industrial soaps which must add additional oils to achieve a similar result. The chemicals in the latter can certainly give the soap a strong odor and make it foam more during use, but in reality, they damage the skin and gradually destroy our protective layer of skin. In addition, if your soap is particularly foamy, it is probably because it contains palm oil, which is extremely harmful to biodiversity.

Additionally, depending on the type of natural, chemical-free soap you choose, your bar of soap can also be used to cleanse your face! This is even more environmentally friendly since you won't be tempted to buy a cleansing product sold in a plastic bottle. And you'll save money, as natural soap may be more expensive than regular soap, but certainly not more than the two products combined! Plus, solid soap will last longer, so there's no risk of emptying your shower gel in a week.
